Alfred Auguste Janniot
Alfred Janniot (1889-1969) is the author of an important monumental work. Friend of Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann, and the painter Louis Bouquet, he participates to the Exposition des Arts décoratifs of 1925, makes the large stone bas-relief don the façade of the Musée des colonies, built for the occasion of the Exposition coloniale of 1931, and decorates with two larges bas-reliefs the back of the palais de Tokyo built in 1937, near the fountain. His work is also presented in New York and Nice.
